#62 Let us Highly Resolve 1 copy

http://www.cornerstonecurriculum.com/
Cornerstone Curriculum generously donated 7 copies of Let us Highly Resolve: Families Living for Christ in the 21st Century! by David and Shirley Quine. This is for 1 copy! In order for our children to be ready to stand for Christ in the 21st century their lives must be firmly established upon the Biblical world view. The Quines set forth seven challenges to consider as you disciple your family. EQUIP your children with a Christian world view in order to counter the current thoughts and ideas of secular humanism.
TEACH your children to reason and discern truth in a post-Christian culture.

"Quine compares the biblical world view with the secular and New Age views. The analogy of the map, as well as other analogies and illustrations used throughout the book, make the concepts discussed easy to understand. There is a lot to think about in the 128 pages of this book, but it is presented in a well-organized and easy-to-read manner.

"Quoting extensively from Scripture and also from the works of Francis Schaeffer, the Quines challenge you to resolve:

To build your family upon the biblical world view.
To establish your children’s lives upon truth and absolutes.
To equip your children to reason.
To enter into true spirituality.
To be a ‘by faith’ family.
To prepare your children as a ‘Letter of Christ’ to the culture.
To challenge our culture with the truth of Christianity and the life of Christ.
"The Quines do not give us a step-by-step formula but rather a challenge to live the Christian life as God commands us to live it. They make the point that God has created each child as an individual, so we as parents and teachers must seek God for the specific formula for teaching our own children. They do, however, give us practical directions for arriving at our destination. Reading this book prayerfully will challenge you to “prepare [your] family to enter the 21st century.””
